Spotlight on Health & Beauty in King’s Lynn
From 23rd – 27th April, health and beauty businesses in King’s Lynn will take centre stage as the town hosts its first ever Beauty Week. Organised by Discover King’s Lynn, the King’s Lynn Business Improvement District, Beauty Week aims to throw a spot light on the vast range of health and beauty businesses in the town centre, showing that there really is something for everyone.
Throughout the week there will be offers and discounts from participating businesses as well as free events and demonstrations. The week starts and ends on a glamourous high with events on Tuesday 23rd at 1200, Debenhams and Saturday 27th at 1400 in Boots hosted by the hugely talented, popular and local beauty and motivational vlogger, Jordan Bone. Jordan will be talking through different make up looks using products from the store and will also share her experiences as a beauty vlogger and influencer.
Vicky Etheridge, BID manager said; “The idea behind Beauty Week is to showcase the huge variety of beauty businesses in the town centre; from barbers to beauty boutiques, nail bars and hair salons to tattoo artists, tanning studios and retailers. There is a wealth of expertise in our town and we want to highlight it and show that there really is something for everyone.”
Sarah Haynes, Boots Manager and Discover King’s Lynn Director says; “Beauty Week is a great way to promote the fantastic beauty offer available in the town. We’re really pleased to have got businesses behind the idea and I’m delighted that so many are getting involved with offers and events, we hope to grow this event in the future. My store team are really excited about our event with Jordan on Saturday 27th, it’s the first time we’ve done something like this and we think it will be hugely popular.”
