We have partnered with Loqiva, a UK-based technology company, to provide this incredible digital town hub. This innovative platform combines a feature-rich app for residents and visitors with cutting-edge e-commerce and marketing tools for local businesses, as well as analytics and communication tools to support the BID team.
The app will allow you to find out about King’s Lynn all in one place, from events to special offers, latest town news and local information, as well as tours/guides allowing you to explore the heritage-rich town and discover all the hidden gems it has to offer. So, whether you’re a visitor wanting to get the complete guide to King’s Lynn, a local wanting to keep in the loop with the community or a business aiming to drive footfall and sales, the Discover King’s Lynn app will have you sorted with all you need.
King’s Lynn BID Manager, Vicky Etheridge, said:
“We often hear people asking where they can go to find out about what’s happening in the town, or businesses and organisations asking why there isn’t one place to go to for information about events in the town. Then we found Loqiva and have seen how effective its digital town hub solution has been across other towns and cities around the UK, it was an obvious choice for King’s Lynn and our work to promote the town. “
“The app will allow the town centre and its businesses to be actively promoted, helping to strengthen the town’s economy. It will encourage people to shop local, as there will be the opportunity of connecting with local people/and visitors, through the app, and using things like geo-alerts to promote offers and opportunities.”

The 1st year set up and development of Discover King’s Lynn has been funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Businesses and organisations invited to use the app / are BID levy payers receive access to their business dashboard for free. Residents and visitors can download and use the app for free.
