The Place
Discover King’s Lynn is delighted to announce its most exciting project to date, The Place.
The Place is King’s Lynn’s newest, temporary pop-up space. This pop-up initiative is being launched and led by us, Discover King’s Lynn, with funding from the Government’s Community Renewal Fund.
Rental Opportunities
We’ve transformed a former retail premises on New Conduit Street (opposite Wilko) into a fresh, flexible, multi-purpose venue that can be hired for various business endeavours, such as exhibitions, demonstrations, interactive workshops, tastings, and even general retail usage. The Place is designed to allow small/micro businesses and budding entrepreneurs the chance to try something new without navigating the costs of signing a lease.

A business/entrepreneur could use The Place to test out a new product, trial a bricks and mortar presence or reach a new audience. The venue could be rented for an evening, weekend, week or even on a repeat basis. The possibilities are almost endless!
The whole, available space measures approx. 20m(L) x 6.5m(W) and is plainly decorated to act as the perfect blank canvas for its occupants.
We have striven to keep rental fees as low as possible, and all fees are inclusive of utilities and furniture use. A limited number of tables and chairs are available inside The Place, but extra equipment and furniture is welcome.
In addition to hire opportunities, The Place can also be used by professionals during the week as a meeting venue, to host workshops, or to hot desk.
Hot Desking
In addition to hire opportunities, The Place can also be used by professionals during the week for hot desking.
Hot desking is available Monday – Friday during working hours (9am – 5pm) and some weekends.

"Something different and special within King’s Lynn"
“We are really keen to open the space to a wide range of ideas and opportunities, that could include exhibitions, making sessions, and retail pop-ups from new, existing or developing businesses. We understand that the initial set up costs of opening a physical retail space in the town can be a barrier, so The Place is providing people with an opportunity to give their business idea a go.”
