18 July | 11am – 3pm | Vancouver Quarter | Free
The Vancouver Quarter is hosting a free day of fantastic live entertainment in the heart of its open air shopping centre. With Covent Garden style performers bringing the streets to life, visitors can enjoy dazzling hula hoop artistry, incredible tricks, contortions, comedy, and interactive street performances throughout the day. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day of shopping throughout the Town Centre whilst making a stop to watch some marvellous entertainment.
26 July | 9.30am – 11am | Poco Lounge | £18 per child
Join Poco Lounge for a magical morning on the 26th July! Children will enjoy a delicious breakfast before meeting three special character guests. With games, singing, dancing and storytime, it’s a great way to start the day! Plus, there will be plenty of opportunities to get some memorable photographs. Learn more and book tickets here.
27 July – 31 August | Townwide | Digital trail on the Discover King’s Lynn app
Can you solve the mystery of the stolen Crown Jewels? Follow our family-friendly trail around King’s Lynn Town Centre, visiting several locations to collect clues, eliminate suspects and crack the case. Pick up your suspect list from The Library (46 New Conduit Street) before you begin, then follow the digital trail on the Discover King’s Lynn app to find clues and rule out suspects. Once you’ve solved the mystery, return to The Library to claim a small prize!
27 – 28 July | Noise and Chance School of Dance | 1 day – £40, 2 days – £70
Designed for children aged 6-12, this fun and confidence-building summer camp combines beauty, dance and wellbeing in a welcoming and supportive environment. Day one includes manicures, stage makeup and tips for creating the perfect ballet bun, while day two focuses on body conditioning, fitness, wellness and nutrition.
28 July | Stories of Lynn/King’s Lynn Town Hall | Free with child admission and one accompanying adult free
Bring your favourite teddy, pack a picnic, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of family fun in the Mayor’s Garden. Children are invited to take part in games, crafts and a bear hunt whilst spending quality time outdoors. It’s a lovely way to create some summer memories together in one of King’s Lynn’s historic settings.
28 July | Outside the new Library (46 New Conduit Street) | Free
The Workshop is bringing you a fantastic free outdoor show, Teabreak! Tea leaves have journeyed across continents and centuries to take its place as the great comforter of our time. Enjoy tea served from Trigger’s beautifully hand-painted tuk tuk and enjoy an uplifting performance.
Step back in time this summer as Lynn Museum brings Viking history to life with four exciting family-friendly events:

• Viking Jewellery Workshop for Children on 6 August
• Viking Archaeology Experience Day on 13 August

Join Vancouver Quarter for a roaring Dinosaur Takeover! Get up close to a Jurassic Jeep, meet amazing walking dinosaurs and capture memorable photos with the family. It’s set to be a dino-mite day packed with fun and excitement!

Get creative with three hands-on, dragon-themed arts and crafts workshops as part of St George’s Guildhall’s Summer of Dragons programme. These sessions are perfect for young artists to have fun and make their own dragon-inspired creations. Learn more and book here.

Step into the elegance of the Regency era with a family-friendly Bridgerton inspired ball. Children can take part in masquerade mask making, practice quill letter writing, and join in on 18th century dancing in the Town Hall. Dressing up is encouraged, or borrow something from their dress up selection!
22 August | 10am – 5pm | The Walks | Free
Enjoy a fantastic day out with the whole family at the Frontline Festival. View emergency vehicles and equipment, watch cadet and police dog demonstrations, and take on fun fitness challenges. There’s also live music and street food stalls, offering plenty to see and do throughout the day.
24 August | 10.30am – 3pm | King’s Lynn Town Hall
Young actors and storytellers can create and perform a play all about dragons through games, crafts and drama activities. Children will work together to bring their own imaginative production to life as part of the St George’s Guildhall Summer of Dragons programme. Learn more and book here.

Step inside the medieval Gaol Cells at Stories of Lynn for a fun, hands-on journey through crime and punishment. Discover how life changed from gruesome medieval methods to Victorian reforms, see real historical punishments, and enjoy family games and activities.

Big Norfolk Holiday Fun offers four days of creative activities including drama, music and art. Children can enjoy games, team-building challenges, arts and crafts, and musical activities, while learning about healthy choices and sharing tasty food together.
